Rose Sharp

Rose Sharp, age 74, peacefully passed away on Monday, July 8, 2024, in Joshua. She was born on June 5, 1950, in Dodge City, Kansas, Rose was the beloved daughter of Frances Nead and Velma Rozelle (Brown) Strickland. She dedicated 15 years of her life to service at Santa Fe Railroad and later found joy in her retirement working at Wal-Mart. Rose had a deep passion for yard work and nurturing her flowerbeds. An individual who cherished her family and pets dearly, she was known for her kindhearted nature and willingness to assist others. In her leisure time, Rose found joy in country and western dancing and engaging in conversations with friends via chat and text messages. Her compassionate spirit and warm presence will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Left to cherish her memory are her children: Jody Ellis, Shon Sharp & his wife Marla, Ben Sharp & his wife Laura, Brandon Sharp; along with 8 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Rozelle Goodman, brother Ricky Strickland, and her beloved fur companion Tig.

Rose was preceded in death by her loving parents.
