Roy Eastus

Graveside service for Roy W. Eastus, 80, of Cleburne will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, September 23, 2015 in Greenacres Memorial Park. The Reverend Charles E. Payne will officiate, assisted by the Reverend Brooks Monk. Visitation will be from 6-7:30 P.M., Tuesday, at the funeral home.
Roy W. Eastus passed away Sunday, September 20, 2015. He was born April 28, 1935 in Cleburne to Carl and Elsie Baker Eastus. He married Shirley Sain on April 23, 1999 in Cleburne and she preceded him in death on February 11, 2014.
Mr. Eastus served as a sergeant in the Army National Guard. He worked as a machinist for the Santa Fe Railroad, retiring with 41 years of service. He was a member of the Cleburne Masonic Lodge No. 315 and Calvary Baptist Church.
Survivors include his son, Greg Eastus and wife Paige of Cedar Park; daughter, Angie Eastus Bakke and husband Mike of Colleyville; two stepchildren, Cindy Morrison and husband Jacky of O’Brien and Danny Sain and wife Jacqui of Cleburne; grandchildren, Andrea Bakke, Lori Bakke, Christopher Eastus and wife Susan, and Tanner Eastus and close friend and previous wife, Loretta Freeland. He was also preceded in death by his parents; brother, Bill Eastus; and sister, Betty Trussell.
