Service for Roy Edward Kite, Sr., 67, of Cleburne, will be conducted at 10:00 AM Monday, July 6, 2015 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Bobby Booth will officiate. Burial will be in Rio Vista Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Donald Dickson, Chuck Graham, Chaz Graham, Sherwood Webber, Javier Escamilla, Craig Kite and Ronald Sanders. Honorary pallbearers will be Martis Ward, Jay Kite, Harold Kite, Charles Donnell and Lamar.

Roy E. Kite, Sr. passed away Thursday, July 02, 2015 in Dallas. He was born April 11, 1948 in Red Oak, Iowa to Carl Henry and Jewel Jeannette Burnett Kite.

Roy served in the US Navy and was self-employed. He married Judy Millsap Kite on April 4, 1998 in Cleburne and she preceded him in death on July 31, 2009.

Roy Kite, Sr. is survived by his children, Eric Kite and wife Denise of Blanchard, Oklahoma, Roy Kite, Jr. and his wife Tessa of Cleburne, Chris Kite and his fiancée Bobbi of Moore, Oklahoma, step-daughter, Steffanie Johnson and husband Kris of Burleson; brother, Jerry Kite of Whitney; longtime friend and caregiver, Diann West; grandchildren, Myaria, Megan, Whitney, Olivia, Veronica, Amanda, Emilee, Morgan, Craig and Yancy; great-grandchildren, Jaxx, Wyatt and Ellyanna and a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and brother, Carl A. Kite.
