Roy Power

A memorial service for Roy Lynn Power Jr. of Alvarado, beloved husband, father, son and brother, known as Lynn to his family and friends, will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, June 18, 2013 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel.

Lynn Power passed away Saturday, June 8, 2013 in Alvarado. He was born November 10, 1964 in Wichita Falls to Roy Lynn Power Sr. and Karen Niemeyer Power. He married Darice Carleen Moses on April 20, 2001 in Cleburne.

Lynn hauled heavy construction equipment for RDO Equipment Company in Fort Worth and drove many years for Lone Star Gas Company. He spent most of his time outdoors and took great pride in always keeping an immaculate home, lawn and truck. He enjoyed camping, cooking out on the grill and riding four wheelers. His strong opinions and outspoken nature will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Survivors include his loving and caring wife of 12 years, Darice Power; parents, Roy Lynn Power Sr. and Karen Power; three daughters, Taylor Power and Jesse Crane, Hannah Power, and Jacey Lynn Power; grandson, Jaxon Crane; sister, Fonda Garza and husband, Ed; nephew, Trevor Garza; nieces, Hayley and Sydney Garza; and aunts, Nancy Hunt, Lavell Power Wesner, and Bettie Paulhamus.
