Service for Roy A. Wilson, 72, of Cleburne will be conducted at 3:00 P.M., Monday, February 2, 2015 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. The Reverend Lanny Spruill will officiate.
Burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be George Doggett, Jackie Aldredge, Jimmy Freeman, Larry Swaggart, Adrian Polk, Delton Miller and Clint Hinson. Honorary pallbearer will be Scott Cody.
Visitation will be from 2:00-4:00 P.M., Sunday, at the funeral home.
Roy A. Wilson passed away Friday, January 30, 2015 in Cleburne. He was born September 21, 1942 in Ft. Worth to Dewey A. and Lena M. Wallace Wilson. He married Connie Jean Fuller on November 21, 1980 in Hurst.
Mr. Wilson was a structural engineer in the steel industry for more than 30 years and owner and operator of County Line Feed and Grains in Rio Vista for 12 years. He was also a farmer for twenty years and was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include his wife, Connie Wilson of Cleburne; children, Monty Wilson and wife Brentney of Rio Vista, Misty Kimbrough of Ft. Worth, Cullie Wilson and wife Trina of Burleson, Stephen Wilson and wife Kelly of Ft. Worth, and Shannon Michel of Ft. Worth; Grandchildren, Mason Bane, Jeremy Bane, Pecos Wilson, Jessie Megett, Travis Smith, Elliot Pergande, Wyatt Wilson, and Aston Michel; great grandchildren, Cammi Eason and Mason Megett; sisters, Freda Bennett of Boyd and Kathryn Darden of N. Ft. Worth. He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Jenny Gilbert, Diane Wheeler and Ina Joan Wilson.
