Ruby Evers

Service for Ruby Nellene Evers, 90, of Cleburne will be conducted at 10:30 A.M. Thursday, May 8, 2014 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Pastor Dave Routson will officiate. Burial will be in Prices Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 P.M., Wednesday, at the funeral home.

Ruby Nellene Evers passed away Sunday, May 4, 2014 in Cleburne. She was born October 17, 1923 in Dublin to Elmer Carl and Nettie Hayes McCurdy. She married Mayron Daniel Evers and he preceded her in death on Nov. 19, 1977.

Mrs. Evers owned and operated a hair salon before retirement. She was of the Lutheran faith.

Survivors include her daughters, Terry Evers and husband Laurence Hurley, and Patricia Sullivan and husband Jim; son, Jerald Evers; cousin, Doug Ewing; cherished companion, Clifford Cogdill and his family; grandchildren, Kent Irwin, Daniel Evers, Ryan McBride, Robert McBride, Bridget Hurley, Nicole Hurley, and Shari Evers; and three great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her parents; and son, Michael Evers.
