Ruby Green

Service for Ruby Green, 94, of Arlington, formerly of Cleburne, will be conducted at 10:30 A.M., Friday, Feb. 22, 2013 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. The Reverend Charles E. Payne will officiate. Pallbearers will be David Doggett, Chris Shouse, Bill Hughes, Ed Carter, Chad Baldwin and Cody Shouse. Honorary pallbearers will be Andy Brinton and Zak Shouse. Burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 P.M., Thursday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Green passed away Monday, Feb. 18, 2013, in Arlington. She was born May 3, 1918 in the Fall Creek community in Hood County to Marvin and Elizabeth Barker Keith. She married Clyde Strickland Green on May 17, 1940 in Cleburne.

Mrs. Green was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include three daughters, Clydene Doggett and husband, Charles of Arlington, Judy Shouse and husband, Doug of Mansfield, and Jan Myers of San Diego, Calif.; five grandchildren, David Doggett and wife, Lana, Chris Shouse, Deann Hughes and husband, Bill, Shellee Carter and husband, Ed and Jana Brinton and husband, Andy; 10 great grandchildren; and four great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Clyde on April 27, 1998; and four brothers, Tommy, Billy, J.W. and Burl Keith.
