Services for Ruby Mae Malone, 96, of Burleson, formerly of Cleburne, will be conducted at 11:00 A.M., Monday, March 25, 2024, in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. The Reverend Ken Coleman will officiate. The interment will be held in Hillcrest Garden of Memories, Hillsboro. A visitation will be on Sunday, March 24, 2024, from 4-6 P.M. at the funeral home. Serving as pallbearers are Brad Moran, T.J. Malone, Jr., Shawn Kitchens, Jake Malone, Shane Malone, and Ruben Villanueva.
Ruby passed away on Sunday, March 17, 2024, in Keene. She was born on February 8, 1928, to Archie Earl and Willie Mae (Long) Adams in Roby, Texas. She married Morris F. Malone on July 27, 1946, in Hill County, he preceded her in death on June 13, 1998, after 51 years of matrimony. She was a sales representative for Home Interiors & Gifts for over 40 years and was a founding member of Central Baptist Church in Hillsboro.
Ruby Mae Malone, Mom, MeMe, and Aunt was a wonderful source of enthusiasm and happiness in all her 96 years. In her last seven years, she resided at Atria Senior Living Retirement in North Richland Hills, where she made many, many new friends. Her hobbies included exercising, dancing, garage sales, and anything to do with sales. She worked well into her 80s and one of her treasured accomplishments was learning to dance again after a broken hip. Ruby loved the Dallas Cowboys and dressing in original cowboy clothing, especially wearing her lucky horseshoe cowboy hat.
Ruby is survived by her daughter, Jan Moran of Burleson; son, Terry Malone, Sr., and Christine of Houston; five grandchildren, Brad Moran and Elizabeth, T.J. Malone, Jr. and Michelle, Shelby Kitchens and Shawn, Megan Mesimer and Kenneth, Britney Malone; seven great-grandchildren, Ford, Fallon, Presley, Chandler, Jake, Shane, Hannah. She was preceded in death by her parents, Archie and Willie Mae Adams, husband, Morris Malone; brother, Jimmy Adams and sister, Earlene Wright.
