Service for Ruby Prescher, 86, of Cleburne will be conducted at 1:00 P.M., Saturday, June 3, 2017 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Reverend Truitt Cockrell will officiate. Burial will be in Greenacres Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M.-1:00 P.M., Saturday, prior to the service.
Ruby Prescher passed away Wednesday, May 31, 2017 in Cleburne. She was born Nov. 10, 1930 in Leon County, TX to Delmer and Bertie May Dean. She married Adolf Prescher on June 6, 1992 in the Sand Flat Community, TX.
Mrs. Prescher was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and a dear friend to many. She worked as a supervisor in food service until retiring. Ruby was a member of Living Proof Baptist Church in Cleburne.
Survivors include her beloved husband, A.J. Prescher of Cleburne; sons, Donald Ray Storrusten and wife Dale of Meigs, GA and Monty Kevin Storrusten of Cleburne; daughter, Cindy Bailey of Cleburne; grandchildren, Shianne Allen and husband Christian of Cleburne, Stephanie Parker and husband Jacob of Tallahassee FL, Chloe Flandermeyer of Whitney and Melanie Storrusten of Atlanta, GA; great grandchildren, Isaac Parker of Tallahassee and Stetson Layn Allen of Cleburne; brothers, Jack Dean and wife Wanda and Billy Dean and wife Evelyn, all of Cleburne; sister, Maurine Prescher of Grandview; and many other relatives and friends who will miss her dearly. She was preceded in death by her parents and her first husband, Kenneth Storrusten.
