Rudolph Holden

Graveside services for Rudolph C. Holden "Uncle Rudy", 71, of Joshua will be conducted at 10:00 A.M. Thursday, August 12, 2010 in the Rosehill Cemetery. The Reverend Charles E. Payne will officiate. Visitation is from 6-8 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Mr. Holden, a carpenter, passed away Sunday, August 8, 2010 in Fort Worth. He was born February 9, 1939 to George and Gracie Green Holden. He married Marilyn Brawner on October 17, 2008. Rudolph was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and uncle who will be missed greatly.

He is survived by his wife, Marilyn Holden of Joshua; sons, Rudolph Holden, Jr. and wife Debbie of Ft. Worth, Rudy Frank and family of Florida and Craig Southworth and spouse of Ft Worth; daughter, Alvada Creech and family of Florida; stepdaughter, Christy Whitehead of Cleburne and Melinda Whitehead of Joshua; stepsons, Ronald Whitehead of Keene, and Ricky Whitehead of Cleburne; brother, John Holden of Cleburne, Jerry Green and wife, Maxine of Dallas and Jack Green and wife Delores of Florida; 10 grandchildren; one great-grandchild and a host of other relatives and friends.
