Ruth Cochran

Ruth Lyon Cochran passed away Monday, October 1, 2007 in Keene, TX. She was born September 29, 1924 in Ellis County, TX to John Horace and Nettie Lee Hassell Lyon. She married Sam Cochran on December 29, 1948 in Waxahachie.
Mrs. Cochran was a homemaker and a member of First United Methodist Church. She was very fond of her children and grandchildren. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were the light of her life.
Ruth Cochran is survived by her son, Philip Cochran of Austin; grandchildren, Chris Cochran, Ashley Conner and Allison Cochran;great-grandchildren, Ashton, Susan MacKenzie Conner and Kendyl Elyse Cochran; daughter-in-law, Kim Cochran and a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Sam Cochran on August 9, 1990; son, John Cochran on June 26, 2006; five sisters, Verna Stephenson, Vera Pruett, Virginia Banks, Ann Ashton and Lee Martin; three brothers, Gordon Lyon, Milton Lyon and Lawrence Lyon.
