Mrs. Fuller passed away Wednesday, September 6, 2006 in Cleburne. She was born October 12, 1908 in Blum, Texas to Albert Anderson and Rachel Elizabeth Bennett Elmore.
Mrs. Fuller was a graduate of Blum High School, a graduate of Meridian Normal College and also a graduate of North Texas State Teachers College. She taught school in Fort Worth as well as Rio Vista and Aquilla. She became an aero-engineer at General Dynamics and worked on several U.S. fighter aircraft prior to her retirement. She was a member and choir director at University Methodist Church in Ft. Worth for many years. Se moved to Cleburne in the late 1980's where she was a member of St. Mark's United Methodist and a member of the Seeker's Club at St. Marks.
Ruth Elmore Fuller is survived with two sisters, Christine Elmore Holcomb of Cleburne and Freddie Elmore McKinney and husband Lloyd B. Sr., of San Angelo; and six nieces and nephews.
