Ruth Oliver

Graveside service for Ruth Oliver, 95, of Cleburne, will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, May 29, 2012 in Rosehill Cemetery. Mr. Kevin Rhodes will officiate. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 P.M., Monday, at the funeral home.

Mrs. Oliver passed away Saturday, May 26, 2012 in Cleburne. She was born August 27, 1916 in Granbury to Marlin Jefferson and Myrtle Elizabeth Crim Brown. She married Lester Vern Oliver on April 8, 1935 in Brownwood.

Mrs. Oliver was a homemaker and a member of Granbury Street Church of Christ.

Survivors include her son, Kenneth Oliver and wife Linda of Cleburne and daughter, Faye Hogan and husband Richard of Tyler; seven grandchildren, Travis Parker, David Parker, Wendy Gibson, Rebecca Oliver, Carla Hall, Debra Ballard, and Chris Ballard; and six great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lester Vern Oliver on June 16, 2000; brother, J.T. Brown and sister, Margaret Utzman.
