Ruth Helen Prater passed away on Wednesday November 7, 2007 in Fort Worth. She was born January 2, 1925. She married Otis Ray Prater, March 22, 1941 in Johnson County. He preceded her in death August, 2000.
Mrs. Prater was a homemaker and was of the Baptist Faith.
She is survived by sons, Charles Ray Prater and wife, Sarah Gaye, Sammy Earl Prater and wife, Charolette and Jimmy Joe Prater and wife, Margaret; daughter, Yvonne Lenore Pappidis; fifteen grandchildren; thirty-three great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. She was also preceded in death by one son, Joseph Edward Prater.
