Ruth West

Service for Ruth West, 83, of Cleburne, will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, Feb. 2, 2013 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. The Reverend Billy Charles Hackler will officiate. Burial will be in the Rio Vista Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Billy Hall, David Hackler, Chad Hackler, Ike Vera, Sonny Langston and Richard Nunn. Honorary Pallbearers will be Rusty Hackler, Dan Reid and Freddie Langston. Visitation will be from 6-8 P.M., Friday at the funeral home.

Mrs. West passed away Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2013 in Ft. Worth. She was born Nov. 20, 1929 in Concho County, to Claude and Irene Hackler. She married Von Ray West. He preceded her in death in 1986. Mrs. West was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include her daughter, Angie West of Cleburne; son, Johnny West and wife Joyce of Cleburne; 5 grandchildren, Tamara, Samantha, Becky, Bruce and Isaiah; 8 great grandchildren; two nieces, Patsy Reid and Irene Hackler Stone; nephew, David Hackler. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Sherri Smith, brother, J.R. Hackler and sister, Claudine Robinson.
