Ruth Wimer

Mrs. Ann Wimer died March 13, 2008. She was born in Dallas, Texas on October 9, 1926 and is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Howard Carrithers. After graduating from Woodrow Wilson High School, Dallas, she moved with her family to Houston where her father was Vice-President at the Federal Reserve Bank. Mrs. Wimer attended the University of Houston and later became a flight attendant with Continental Airlines until her marriage to C.J. Wimer on October 15, 1949 .In 1959, the family moved to Cleburne and in 1975, Mrs. Wimer moved to Carmel, California where she lived until her returned to Cleburne in 1993.
Mrs. Wimer resided at Heritage Trails Nursing Home at the time of her death and is survived by her sons,Howard and Bob; daughter-in-law, Stephanie and granddaughters, Janin and Katherine.
Mrs. Wilmer will be buried beside her parents at Restland Memorial Cemetery, Dallas, at which time a private memorial service will be held.
