Sam Beasley

Graveside services for Sam Beasley, 87 of Cleburne, will be conducted at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday. Burial will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Beasley passed away Sunday, Feb. 20, 2005 in Ft. Worth. He was born Aug. 11, 1917 in Cleburne to R.B. and Myrtle Stewart Beasley, Sr. He married Virginia Martin in 1944 in Spokane, Washington. He graduated from Cleburne High School and North Texas Agriculture College. He was an iron worker and in steel construction and was also a farmer. Mr. Beasley was a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include his wife, Virginia Beasley of Cleburne; sisters, Beatrice Weinert of Cleburne and Dorothy Anderson of Dallas; brother, Jim Beasley of Decatur and a number of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Bert Beasley and R.B. Beasley, Jr.
