Sam Bigler

Sam Bigler, 57, of Arlington, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, December 20, 2010 in Arlington. He was born August 9, 1953 in Santa Ana, California to John Lewis Bigler, Jr. and Marion Ruth Farnsworth Bigler.

Graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, December 23, 2010 in the Kimball Cemetery in Bosque County. Pastor Gregg Bing will officiate. Visitation will be from 6-8 P.M. Wednesday, at the funeral home.

Sam was employed in the dry cleaning industry. He was an excellent cook, a skill he inherited from his mom. Sam loved to hunt, snow ski and participate in various water sports. Sam never met a stranger, he loved to talk and joke. He loved his family and friends and was of the Christian faith. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Sam is survived by his daughter, Jaclyn Bigler of Burleson; father, John Bigler; sister, Cindy Halsey and husband Jim; brother, Johnny Bigler and a number of nieces, nephews and great nephews. Sam was preceded in glory by his mother.
