Graveside services for Samelia Allen Quigley, 86, of Fort Worth, will be conducted in the Greenlawn Memorial Park at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, June 13. Visitation will be from 6:00 -8:00 P.M. Friday at Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Funeral Home.
Samelia Quigley passed away June 5, 2020 in Fort Worth. She was born February 16, 1934 in Sandy Community to Earnest and Samelia Allen. She was a homemaker.
Generous and kindhearted, Mrs. Quigley was also outspoken and feisty. She loved God with her whole heart and played the piano, organ and guitar for several churches. Her passions included gardening and fishing. Always lively, she loved life on her own terms, very strong and independent.
Survivors include her daughter, Tammie Gadsden and husband Clayton; grandchildren, Samelia Hart, Lola Abdulmalk and husband Muhamed, Zhantell Quigley, Angus Quigley and wife Morgan, and Philana Hemlee; great-grandchildren, Alexis Miller and husband Gage, Tristen Arana, Jonathan Hart, Alicia Gwinyai, Kammean-Dion Hemlee, Zariah Barnes, Zackery Barnes, Shaun Quigley, Anaysia Quigley, Jacob Tomlinson, Ariana Quigley, Kiya James, Angus Quigley, Jr., and Adonis Quigley; daughter-in-law, Misty Quigley; son-in-law, Sylvester Johnson; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins who will miss her.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Earnest and Samelia Allen; daughters, Jo Sann Quigley and Shirley Ann Johnson; son, Curtis Quigley; sisters, Mary Allen, Bertha Ferrell, Jewel Pearl Johnson and Elnora Allen; brothers, Ezekiel “Sol” Allen, Jim Allen and Earnest “Brema” Allen.
