Ms. Pugh passed away Sunday, August 14, 2005 in Burleson. She was born November 21, 1931 in Springtown, Texas to Samuel Felix and Lilly Ibbidell Brown Pugh. She was an assembler for Tandy Corporation and was of the Baptist faith.
Sammie Pugh is survived by three daughters, Paula Smith of Burleson, Linda Norrid and husband Albert of Burleson and Debbie Smith of Lillian; son, Billy Smith and wife Ginger of Alvarado; two sisters, Laverne Rowney of Poolville and Shirley Schindler of Westminster, California; six grandchildren, Allen Norrid, Kim Norrid, Toni Smith Bergman, Shiloh Wagoner, Justin Smith and Jessica Smith; four great-grandchildren, Hollyanne Norrid, Josh Brock, Alex Bergman and Ryan Bergman.
