Sammie Webb

Services for Sammie Gale Chaudoir Webb, 63, of Godley, will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 17, 2008 at the First Baptist Church of Godley. The Rev. Ken Coleman will officiate. Burial will be in Godley Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home Tuesday from 5-7 p.m.

Sammie Gale Webb passed away Sunday, December 14, 2008 in Godley. She was born September 30, 1945 in Alexandia, Louisiana to Pete and Wilma Cudd Chaudoir. She married January 8, 1970 in Pineville, Louisiana.

Mrs. Webb was an insurance underwriter and a member of the First Baptist Church in Godley. She was the first Amicus Club Rodeo queen in 1965 Alexandria, La. She enjoyed family time, riding her horses and raising her dogs.

Sammie Webb is survived by husband, Doug Webb of Godley; her children, Ashley Taylor and husband, Jeff of New Braunfels, Roger Webb of Godley, Mari Webb of Godley and Veronica Dean and husband, Lance of Colleyville; grandchildren, Alaina St. John of Godley and Fallon Dean of Colleyville; sister, Fran Shuler of Boyce, La; aunt, Dorothy Morgan of Boyce, La. and a host of relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Pete and Wilma Chaudoir.
