Sammy Wicker
Mr. Wicker was born October 7, 1922 in McCauley, Texas to William Franklin and Cora Simpson Wicker. He married Viola Thornton in Abilene, Texas.
Mr. Wicker retired from the U.S. Marines after 30 years of service. He served in WWII, Korea and Vietnam. He also worked as an auto mechanic.
He is survived by his sister, Frances Sealey and husband Elmer of Abilene; brother, William W. Wicker and wife Donna of Abilene; caregiver and devoted friend, Bettye Hutchins of Grandview; and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.
