Sammy Wilson

Graveside service for Sammy Wilson, 64, of Cleburne will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Monday, Sept. 19, 2016 at Baker-Lain Cemetery. Pastor David Wilson will officiate. Visitation will be from 5-7:00 P.M., Sunday, at the funeral home.

Sammy Wilson passed away Wednesday, Sept. 14, 2016 in Cleburne. He was born Nov. 26, 1951 in Cleburne to O.D. and Irene Heeter Wilson. He married Nancy Blackstock on June 22, 1978 in Johnson County.

Mr. Wilson worked as a carpenter. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and a friend to many. He was a Mason and a member of New Hope Baptist Church.

Survivors include his beloved wife, Nancy Wilson; sons, Randy Wilson and wife Stephanie, Cody Wilson and wife Karrie and Kevin Wilson; daughters, Samantha Taylor and husband Greg; eight grandchildren, Hailie, Blake, Delainie, Hailey, Patrick, and Evelyn Wilson and Noah and Micah Taylor; sister, Sandy King; brothers, Tracy Wilson, Neil Wilson and David Wilson; and a host of other relatives and friends who will miss him dearly. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Larry Wise and Freddy Wilson; and a sister, Becky Jackson
