Services for Samuel Edward “Sam” Randolph, 75, of Cleburne will be held privately at a later date. Inurnment will be in Rosehill Cemetery.
Sam passed away Sunday, September 17, 2023 in Cleburne. He was born June 15, 1948 to Floyd B. and Betty Lou (Campbell) Randolph, Jr., in Cleburne. Sam was a member of First Baptist Church in Blum. He served his country in the United States Army from 1968-1971 during the Vietnam era. Sam worked as a truck driver for Shipman Transportation with 37 years of service. He was a quiet and private man that was truly a good neighbor. Sam enjoyed riding motorcycles and attending boat races. He was a member of the American Legion Hall. Sam enjoyed reconnecting and spending time with old friends, gardening, raising doves, and working on projects in his shop. He will be truly missed by all that knew him.
He is survived by his daughters, Gina Toi Gilbert, and Carol Lynn Masters; grandchildren, Ashlee Gilbert, Haley Gilbert, Marcus Scott Masters, Jacob Masters, and Caleb Masters; great-grandchildren, Carter, Maverick, Case, Judge, Kaysen, and Harper; sister, Jacque Gould and husband, Gary; several nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
Sam is preceded in death by his parents.
