Sandra Lyn Bigg Akins, 52, of Joshua passed away Monday, June 6, 2016 in Joshua.
Sandra was born October 31, 1963 in Sterling, Colorado to James Ernest and Barbara Jean McDill Bigg. She was a truck driver and was of the Pentecostal faith. She will be missed greatly by all who knew and loved her.
Survivors include her children, Casandra Jean Griffin, Kylie Suzanne Dowling, and James Thomas Yerina; grandchildren, Carter Griffin and Summer Griffin; her parents, James Ernest and Barbara Bigg; two sisters, Melinda Bigg and Donna Bigg; brother, Michael Bigg; and a host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, J.L. and Genevieve McDill and paternal grandparents, Virgil and Elsie Bigg.
