Sheila Braziel

A private Celebration of Life for Sheila Ann Wilson Braziel, 66, of Alvarado will be held at a later date.

Sheila passed away Sunday, November 26, 2023 in Alvarado. She was born October 9, 1957, in Fort Worth to Jimmy Dee and Helen Jeanette (Burchfield) Wilson. Sheila married Danny Earl Braziel on May 19, 1985 in Alvarado. She was of the Baptist faith. Sheila worked as an Assembly worker for General Motors for 25 years. She had a strong will and independent streak. Sheila was a loving mother who had a beautiful soul. She was family oriented, a happy person that enjoyed life. Sheila enjoyed cooking and was known for her chicken noodle soup. She spent countless hours watching old westerns with Danny and was a John Wayne fan. Sheila was an avid animal lover and will be greatly missed by all that knew her because she was “One of A Kind”.

She is survived by her daughter, Crystal Hardaway and her husband, Glenn; grandchildren, Desiree, Michelle, Jimmy, Tyler, Joshua, Lisa Marie, Ashley, Katie, and Jacob; numerous great-grandchildren; sister, Linda Jean Huckaby; several nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends, including her dog, Miss Lady.

Sheila was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Danny who passed away on August 11, 2023.
