A visitation for Shelia Fisher Peugh will be prior to the service Tuesday, February 25, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Funeral Home in Cleburne, Texas. A funeral service will be at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, February 25, 2025 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Interment will follow at Rio Vista Cemetery in Rio Vista, Texas. Shelia Fisher Peugh, a beloved member of her community, passed away on February 21, 2025, in Cleburne, Texas. Born on July 12, 1960, in Nashville, Tennessee, Shelia led a life filled with joy, laughter, and service to those around her. Shelia was known for her great work ethic, dedicating herself to her role as an appraisal clerk where she thrived. Beyond her professional life, Shelia was a vibrant, outgoing person who never met a stranger. She had a unique ability to connect with people, always extending warmth and kindness to everyone she encountered. Family was at the center of Shelia's happiness. She cherished her time spent reading her devotionals and gathering with loved ones during holidays, creating cherished memories that will forever be held close to the hearts of her family. One of her fondest memories was her wedding to her late husband, Ernest Peugh, which brought joy and love that echoed throughout her life. Shelia's dedication to her community was evident through her involvement with Relay for Life. Her spirit shone brightest when she was surrounded by friends and family, sharing laughter and creating wonderful moments. Her genuine happiness and ability to uplift those around her made her presence truly special. Shelia is survived by her stepdaughter, Jeannie Frazer; her niece, Gerry Rose and her husband Dale; and her nephews, Terry Estep and his wife Callie, and Clinton Lee Fisher. She will be missed dearly by her grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other friends and family. Sheila is preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Peugh; her parents, Noble and Ivadell Fisher; her sister, Barabara Estep; her brother, Billy Fisher; as well as her niece, Paula Kay Fisher, and nephew, Billy Fisher, Jr. Shelia Peugh leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and the invaluable lesson that health should not be taken for granted. Her memory will live on through the countless lives she touched during her time on earth. |
