Service for Shelly “Ninny” Lyles, 53, of Cleburne will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Thursday, August 21, 2014 in the Calvary Baptist Church. The Reverend Charles E. Payne and the Reverend Brooks Monk will officiate. Burial will be in Greenacres Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Wayne Mangrum, Stevie Moore, Woody Moore, Glen Moore Jr., Robby Honea, and Randal Lee. Honorary pallbearers will be Ryan Lyles and Brad Lee. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 P.M., Wednesday, at the funeral home.
Shelly “Ninny” Lyles passed away Saturday, August 16, 2014 in Dallas. She was born October 8, 1960 in Cleburne to Glen Ray Sr. and Cherry Busby Moore. She married David Wayne Lyles on November 16, 1990 in Cleburne.
Mrs. Lyles was a homemaker and was known by her grandchildren as “Ninny”. She worked for the Johnson County Clerk’s office for several years and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband of 24 years, David Lyles; mother, Cherry Moore; children, Shayla Boyd and husband Lyndon, Charles Layland Jr. and wife Cassidy, Ryan Lyles, Dustin Lyles, and Charlotte Layland; six grandchildren, Kaden, Jade, Ember, Jace, Kaylee, and Dailyn, all of Cleburne; two sisters, Ingrid Honea and husband Robby of Whitney and Becky Lee and husband Randal of Cleburne; four brothers, Stevie Moore and wife Lisa of Cleburne, Billy Moore of Cleburne, Woody Moore and wife Janice of Haltom City, and Glen Moore Jr. and wife Tammy of Cleburne; numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Glen Ray Moore Sr. in 2009; daughter, Brandi Layland in 1980; Hunter Layland in 2009; nephew, Gary Speer Jr. in 2008; and niece, D’Andra Moore in 2003.
