Sherry Ditchfield

Services for Sherry Lynn Ditchfield, 56, of Joshua, will be at 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, January 19, 2010 at Crosier Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Burial will be at Baker Lain Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 6:00-8:00 P.M. Monday.

Sherry went to be with her Lord and Savior Thursday, January 14, 2010. Sherry was born October 13, 1953 in Fort Worth to Dean and Margaret E. Elmick. She married Christopher Ditchfield in 1971 in Dallas. She was a homemaker, avid reader and of Full Gospel faith. Sherry loved studying the Bible and Jewish rooted teachings. Sherry was preceded in death by her parents; son, Matthew Ditchfield; and two sisters, Evelyn McDaniel and Jadean Elmick.

Survivors include her husband, Chris Ditchfield; son, Scott Ditchfield and wife, Brandi; brother in law, Norman McDaniel; nephew, Terry Maxwell; and a host of extended family and friends.
