Sherry Scott

Services for Sherry Scott, 67, of Cleburne, will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 30, 2006 at Shiloh Baptist Church. Rev. C.D. McAdoo will officiate. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery.

Sherry Scott passed away Sunday, September 24, 2006 in Cleburne. She was born September 22, 1939 in Ft. Worth to Willie and Easter Terry Combs,Sr. She was married to James Ray Scott.

Mrs. Scott was a retired deputy for Juvenile Probation. She graduated from Booker T. Washington High School in Cleburne and was a member of their ex-student association. She also was member of Shiloh Baptist Church.

Sherry Scott is survived by her mother, Easter Combs of Cleburne; daughters, LaShael Hafford and husband Jimmy of Cleburne, Terry Combs of Cleburne, Vicki Johnson and husband Mark of California, Rhoda Pickens of Ft. Worth and Sherron Bower of San Antoino; 11 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Willie B. Combs, Sr.; husband, James Ray Scott; daughter, Stephanie Pickens and brother, Willie B. Combs, Jr.
