Shirley Ferris

Service for Shirley Ann Ferris, 81, of Alvarado will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Friday, January 8, 2016 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 P.M., Thursday, at the funeral home.

Shirley Ann Ferris passed away Monday, January 4, 2016 in Alvarado. She was born November 20, 1934 in El Reno, Okla. to Edward A. and Bonnie Irene Sivadon Weicker.

Ms. Ferris was a teacher and a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and a friend to many. She was of the Pentecostal faith.

Survivors include her daughter, Rhonda McKeown and spouse Billy Wright of Waco; son, Patrick Ferris of Haslet; grandson, Dustin Wright; granddaughters, Denice Wright, McKensie Ferris, and Destiny Wright; great grandson, Koree Wright; great granddaughter, Savannah Wright; extended family, Elizabeth McKeown and her four grandchildren and Jerri Lynn Grady and her four grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.
