Shirley "Kricket" Russ

A graveside memorial service for Shirley “Kricket” Russ, 73, of Alvarado will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, Sept. 9, 2017 in the Grandview Cemetery.
Shirley “Kricket” Russ passed away Monday, Aug. 21, 2017 in Ft. Worth. She was born Oct. 17, 1943 in Cleburne to Allie Woodman and Eva Mae Smith Maultsby. She married Billy Wayne Russ and he preceded her in death on Oct. 2, 2002.
Shirley worked as a medical office manager until retiring. She was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include her partner, Jimmy Spruell; daughter, Sonja Arthur; grandchildren, Troy Arthur and Stephen Arthur; three great grandchildren; brother, Alton Maultsby; and a host of other relatives and friends who will miss her greatly. She was also preceded in death by her parents and three brothers.
