Shirley Morris

Service for Shirley Frances Morris, 95, of Katy, formerly longtime Keene resident, will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, August 12, 2015 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 P.M., Tuesday, at the funeral home.
Shirley Morris passed away Saturday, August 8, 2015 in Sugar Land. She was born April 26, 1920 in Haralson County, GA to Marion Patrick and Lillie Green Williams Campbell. She married Richard A. (Pete) Morris on April 9, 1942 in Ft. Worth and he preceded her in death on September 2, 1994.
Mrs. Morris was a retired beautician and nurse. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. She took care of her husband many years before his death and enjoyed cooking and sharing food with neighbors and friends. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Survivors include her son, Duane Morris and wife Mary of Katy; granddaughter, Lori Morris Pankhurst of Kalispell, Montana; three great grandchildren, Eric Morris, Rihannon Pankhurst and Laila Pankhurst. She was also preceded in death by her parents and seven brothers and sisters.
