Sidney Morgan

Graveside service for Sidney Morgan, 85, of Cleburne will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, November 18, 2014 at Laurel Land Memorial Park in Ft. Worth. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 P.M., Monday, at the funeral home.

Sidney Morgan passed away Thursday, November 13, 2014 in Cleburne. He was born September 2, 1929 in Comanche, Texas to Sam Houston and Mary Alice Toon Morgan. He married Frances Ruth Nobles and she preceded him in death.

Mr. Morgan served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He worked in maintenance at TCU and in various fields until retirement. He was a hard worker and was a small man with a large, giving heart. He never had anything bad to say about anyone. Sidney was an avid reader and loved to read and watch westerns. He was a member of the VFW and was of the Christian faith. His love for life and his family will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Survivors include his children, Clay Morgan and Kathy Wylie and husband Gary; grandchildren, Chad, Alicia, and Courtney; three great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. He was also preceded in death by his parents and several siblings.
