Socorro Mendoza, 75, of Cleburne, passed away Thursday, November 13, 2014 in Cleburne. She was born February 25, 1939 in Monterrey, Mexico. Mrs. Mendoza was a homemaker; always busy sewing and crocheting and taking care of her home. She was an excellent cook and was famous for her stuffed peppers and beans. She was family oriented and had a quick wit. She was of the Catholic faith.
Socorro Mendoza is survived by her children, Margarita Mendoza and husband Jeff Freeman; several grandchildren including: James Garrison, Andrea, Danielle, Lauren and Emma Freeman; eight sisters and two brothers; nieces; nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded by her parents; husband Jose Mendoza and son Jose Mendoza, Jr.
