Sonya Watson

Services for Sonya Ann Watson, 64, of Blum will be conducted at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, November 27, 2010 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. The Reverend Sam Houston will officiate. Burial will follow in Blum Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8 P.M. Friday.

Mrs. Watson passed away Tuesday, November 23, 2010 in Blum. She was born August 31, 1946 in Cleburne to Joe Harrell and Odessa Jane Applegate Leader. She married Ronald Earl Watson on June 11, 1980 in Glen Rose.

Sonya was a homemaker and a member of Woodrow Baptist Church.

Sonya is survived by her husband of 30 years, Ronnie Watson of Blum; one daughter, Leatriece McGhee and husband D.W. of Covington; sisters, Kathy Schafer and husband Wayne and Linda Meadows; grandson, Sonny McGhee and wife Shelley; one great grandson, Colt McGhee. She was preceded in death by her father, Joe Leader; mother, Odessa Day; grandson, Travis McGhee and one brother, Dennis Harold Leader.
