Sostenes Ibarra

Service for Sostenes “Hot Sos” Ibarra, 70, of Cameron will be conducted 10:00 A.M. Saturday, October 6, 2018 in the Iglesia La Fuente. Pastor Juan C. Pioquinto will officiate. Burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Santiago Rodriguez, Jordan Rodriguez, Beto Galvan, Ryan Avila, Francisco “Kiko” Ibarra, Ventura Iberra, Luis Reyes, and Inacio Pena. Visitation and rosary will be from 6-8:00 P.M. Friday at the funeral home.

Sostenes passed away Monday, October 1, 2018 in Cameron. He was born December 5, 1947 in El Porvenir, Durango, Mexico to Francisco and Isabel Amaya Ibarra. He was raised in Sonora, Mexico.
Mr. Ibarra worked as a ranch hand for many years.

Survivors include his daughters Sandra Rodriguez and husband Santiago of Joshua, Michelle Jacal and husband Inacio of Joshua, Daisy Garza and husband Jesse of Cameron; sons Steve Ibarra and wife Arely of Belton, Frank Ibarra of Cameron; 12 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, son Sostenes Ibarra, Jr., brothers Ventura Ibarra and Jose Ibarra, and sister Maria Torres.
