Stanley Stambaugh

Services for Stanley Gerald "Stan" Stambaugh, 70, of Rio Vista, will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Monday, October 26, 2009 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. The Rev. Charles E. Payne and Rev. Earl Sides will officiate. Interment will be at 12:00 p.m. in the Crowley Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jerad Doty, Sam Doty, Tyler Martin, Jason Peugh, Seth Peugh and Josh Chambers.

Stan Stambaugh passed away Thursday, October 22, 2009 in Rio Vista. He was born August 10, 1939 in Burleson to Euless and Jessie Pearl (Hawkins) Stambaugh. He married Ann Hoffman on August 23, 1957 in Crowley.
He was a permit agent for the oil and gas industry and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.

Stan is survived by his wife, Ann Stambaugh of Rio Vista; three daughters, Vicki Doty and husband Lynn, Melody Peugh and husband Bart all of Rio Vista and Tracy Martin and husband Preston of Haslet; seven grandchildren, Jerad and wife Stephanie, Sam, Tyler, Jason, Seth, Josh and Briana and one great-grandchild, Madi. He was preceded in death by his parents and infant son, James Todd Stambaugh.
