Service for Stanley Vantrease Wilson, 73, of Godley will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Friday, Jan. 5, 2018 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Burial will be in Godley Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Mr. Wilson’s three sons, Charles Wilson, Justin Wilson, and Joe Wilson. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 P.M., Thursday, at the funeral home.
Stanley Vantrease Wilson passed away Saturday, December 30, 2017 in Ft. Worth. He was born July 10, 1944 in Jonesboro, AR to Joseph V. and Margaret Duncan Wilson.
Mr. Wilson worked as a police officer for the City of Everman until retiring. He was of the Jehovah Witness faith.
Survivors include his wife, Chaohua Wilson of Godley; sons, Charles Wilson and wife Jodie of Burleson, Justin Wilson and wife Mandee of Aledo, and Joe Wilson and wife Suzi of Granbury; daughters, Mary Margaret Wilson of Whitney and Tammy Cmakal of Ft. Worth; nine grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and a sister, Ann Baldwin of North Richland Hills. He was preceded in death by his parents.
