Stephen D. Bentley, aka Panther Dugan, 64 passed away Thursday, July 13th 2017. He was born March 17, 1953 in Ft. Worth.
Only his family and a few friends knew of his cancer diagnosis. A man of impeccable character and strength, Panther was quite the southern gentleman who loved his family with all he had. He will be truly missed by all.
Panther is survived by his beloved wife, Robbie Bentley; his sons, Hank Bentley, Chance Bentley, Wesley Davis, Ty Bentley; daughter, Kathleen Davis-Coon. A loving grandfather, Panther’s legacy lives on in his grandchildren, Kaelyn Bentley, Kelden Bentley, Alexis Davis, Lily Davis, Chloe Davis, Dylan Coon, Emmalea Davis-Coon, Nolan Bentley, Riley Bentley, Harper Bentley, Weston Davis-Coon, and Sophie Davis; great grandchild, Sparrow Bentley; mother, Joyce Bentley-Alvis; and siblings, Richard Bentley, Joyce-Ann Bentley, and Scott Bentley. Panther is preceded by his father, Frank Bentley and granddaughter, Ryann Bentley.
We will be having a celebration of life this fall 2017 for friends and family to gather in his memory.
