Graveside service for Stephen Joe Gent will be 1:00 P.M., Wednesday, April 2, 2025 in Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8:00 P.M., Tuesday, April 1, 2025 at the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Funeral Home 512 North Ridgeway, Cleburne, Texas.

Stephen Joe Gent of Cleburne passed on Sunday, March 23rd, 2025, at the age of 62. He was born to Glen and Clara May (Sanders) Gent on October 2nd, 1962. Joe was a life-long trucker which helped him meet people all over the country and from all walks of life; he never knew a stranger. He was always good for a laugh and never hesitated to help someone when he thought they needed it. He loved to boast and brag about the achievements and accomplishments of his loved ones. His proudest role in life was that of Dad and Papa, his love for his daughter and grandbabies was immeasurable. Joe will be fondly remembered and truly missed.

Joe Gossett, David Ford, Tommy Rossa, Robert Gent, Scott Gent, Benjamin Huebner, Patrick Huebner, Mark Come, and Hayden Come will honor him as pallbearers.

Stephen leaves behind his daughter Patricia Marshall and husband TSgt Bruce Marshall of the USAF, as well as his grandchildren Liara, Thane and Kaiden of JBER, Alaska; sister, Glenda Solomon of Cleburne; brother Larry Gent and wife Karen of Liberty, Missouri, and a host of nieces, nephews, other extended family members and countless friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Glen and Clara May Gent; his brother, C.W. Gent; sister, Paula Anthony; and brother, Bobbie Leo Gent.
