Stephen "Steve" Fowler

Service for Stephen “Steve” Fowler, 49, of Rio Vista will be conducted at 10:30 A.M., Monday, July 25, 2016 in the First Baptist Church of Rio Vista. Jacky Mears will officiate. Burial will follow in Rio Vista Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3-5:00 P.M., Sunday, at the funeral home.
Stephen “Steve” Fowler passed away Wednesday, July 20, 2016 in Ft. Worth. He was born Aug. 18, 1966 in Ft. Worth to Burwin Burrell and Ruby Bonnel Marbut Fowler. He married Donna Ruth Hanna on August 23, 1986 in Cleburne.
Steve was formerly a shipping manager for Walls Industries and Technical Chemical Company and was an active member of Discipleship Unlimited Prison Ministry. He mentored children and youth and coached softball and was an active member of First Baptist Church of Rio Vista. He will be missed greatly by all who knew and loved him.
Survivors include his beloved wife, Donna Fowler; children, Shellie Gentry and husband Jason of Cleburne and Trudy Hernandez and husband Marco of Arlington; grandchildren, Julien Gentry and Emma Gentry; brother, Burl Fowler and wife Mary; sisters, Kathy Berry and Cindee Goodman and husband Ronnie; several nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother-in-law, Dale Berry; and maternal and paternal grandparents.
