Steve Aston

Service for Steve Aston, 62, of Waco, will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, April 25, 2015 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. The Reverend Mark Ely will officiate. Burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be provided by the Cleburne Police Department.
Visitation will be from 6-8:00 P.M., Friday, at the funeral home.
Steve Aston passed away Monday, April 20, 2015 in Waco. He was born July 10, 1952 in Key West, Florida to Verna Hugh and Elizabeth Lee Rinker Aston. He married Marie Renee Collins on October 13, 1979 in Waco and she preceded him in death on July 16, 2002.
Mr. Aston served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. He was a Police sergeant and motorcycle officer, retiring from the Cleburne Police Department with 30 years of service. He will be missed greatly by all who knew and loved him.
Survivors include his children, Michelle Aston of Cleburne, Steven Aston II and wife Rebecca of Austin, and Jon Aston and wife Jessica of Kilgore; grandchildren, Darcie, Christopher, Samantha, Hayden, Madeleine, Emalee, and Maverick; and a host of other relatives and friends. He was also preceded in death by his parents.
