Steve Marroquin

Services for Steve "Pelon" Marroquin, Jr., 20, of Alvarado, will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 24, 2007 in the Primera Iglesia Bautista Sun West Church. Pastor Andres Felix will officiate. Burial will be in Pleasant Point Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Heriberto Marroquin, Jr., Cruz Moran, Ricky Hernandez, Andrez Moran, Jimmy Stephens and Adam Gonzalez.
Steve "Pelon" Marroquin, Jr. passed away Sunday, May 20, 2007 in Ft. Worth. He was born November 11, 1986 in Dallas to Steve and Connie Stephens Marroquin, Sr.
"Pelon" graduated in 2005 from Alvarado High School and was employed as a journeyman.
"Pelon" is survived by his mothers, Connie Marroquin of Pine Bluff, Arkansas and Hope Rojas of Alvarado; fathers, Steve Marroquin, Sr. and Mario Rojas both of Alvarado; two brothers, James Stephens of Pine Bluff, Arkansas and Ricky Hernandez of Alvarado; paternal grandfather, Heiberto Marroquin, Sr. of Plainview, TX; six sisters, Crystal Marroquin of Alvarado, Juanita Marroquin (Adam Gonzalez) of Dallas, Angel Marroquin of Ft. Worth, Hope Rojas of Alvarado, Rosie DeLeon of Alvarado, Leticia Rojas of Alvarado and Vicki Hernandez of San Antonio; seven uncles, Heriberto Marroquin and wife Socorro of San Antonio, Danny Marroquin of Chicago, Illinois, Jesse Marroquin (Laura Rager) of Dallas, Jack Marroquin (Rhonda Earl) of Dallas, Cruz Marroquin, Andrez Marroquin, Felipe Marroquin all of Alvarado; aunt, Arminda Marroquin (Jesse DeLeon) of Las Vegas, Nevada; cousins, Nicole, Julie, Victoria, RoseMary, Mario, Christopher, Ronaldo, Johnny, Raphel, Christopher, Herbert, Anthony, Vincent, Miguel, Juan, Cruz, Jonothan, Ruben, Jesse and a number of cousins in Arkansas; nephew, Adam; and nieces, Hillary, Ashley and Justice.
