Sue Ann Jones Barnett

Service for Sue Ann Jones Barnett, 76, of Alvarado will be conducted at 3:00 P.M., Wednesday, Jan. 4, 2017 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Pastor Mike Maxwell will officiate. Burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Dustin Maldonado, Colton Powell, Brandon Powell, Jacob Haney, Chase Johnson and Noah Miles. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 P.M., Tuesday, at the funeral home.
Sue Ann Jones Barnett passed away Thursday, Dec. 29, 2016 in Ft. Worth. She was born Aug. 1, 1940 in Geary, Ok to Louis R. and Lucille E. White Jones. She married Elbert Barnett on May 16, 2005 in Cleburne and he preceded her in death on Nov. 22, 2016.
Mrs. Barnett worked as a CNA in Cleburne, retiring with 27 years of service. She was a member of Brazos Point Church.
Survivors include her son, Louis Powell and wife Vicky of Alvarado; three daughters, Dana Hallock and husband Tim of Mineral Wells, Lisa Johnson and husband Dwayne of Alvarado and Elizabeth “Dee” Haney of Cleburne; stepson, Ronnie Barnett of Cleburne; brother, Donny Jones and wife Rhonda of Cleburne; sister, Carolyn Ford of Cleburne; 11 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her parents.
