Service for Susan Hughes, 64, of Cleburne will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Friday, Sept. 21, 2012 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Burial will be in Greenacres Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 P.M., Thursday, at the funeral home.

Mrs. Hughes passed away Monday, Sept. 17, 2012 in Ft. Worth. She was born Dec. 13, 1947 in Dallas to Larry Russell and Winnie Jo McBroom Self. She married Cecil Hughes in May of 1974 in Dallas.

Mrs. Hughes worked in the food service industry and was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include her husband of 38 years, Cecil Hughes of Cleburne; sons, Cecil Andrew Hughes of Cleburne and Jacob Lee Hughes and wife, Spicy of Joshua; seven grandchildren, Nicki, Justin, Floyd "BB", Gus, Tyler, Bradley and Honey; brothers, Michael Self and wife, Linda of Rendon and Jerry Boyd and wife, Sherry of Kennedale; sisters-in-law, Linda Gibson and husband, John of Whitney, Sheryl McClintock and husband, Kenneth of Irving and Patty Evans and husband Steve of Evansville, IN; brothers-in-law, John Hughes of Port Arthur and Robert Hughes and wife Tammie of Midlothian and several other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Jeffery Shane Sanders in 1973 and one grandson, Jordan Adams in 2011.
