Tanya Crawford

Service for Tanya V. Crawford, 64, of Cleburne, will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, May 14, 2022, in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Pastor Donnie Capers will officiate. Burial to follow in Brazos Point Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8:00 P.M., Friday, May 13, 2022, at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Cody Smith, Kyle Woodard, Tyler Langer, Lonnie Sadler, Fernando Rios aka, “Rednexican”, and Jerry Morehead. Honorary pallbearers will be Harvey Hartis, Trevor Morehead and Dustin Rubio.

Tanya passed away Friday, May 6, 2022, in Cleburne. She was born October 1, 1957, in Cleburne to Phirman Joseph Crawford Sr., and Shirley Ann Lee Crawford. Tanya was a member of Faith Temple Church and worked as an Assistant Director for Operation Blessing for over 12 years.

Tanya is survived by her children, Jeanie Romero and partner, Kellee Johnston of Granbury, and Cody Smith and spouse, Kristen of Cleburne; grandchildren, Dakoda Smith and Kenslee Smith; adopted grandchildren, Leighton, Karsten, Briggs, Rayden, Jezzlyn, Annias, and Colston; brother, Keyo Crawford and spouse, Cathy of Whitney; numerous nieces, nephews and several adopted children.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Phirman J. Crawford, Jr., sister, Bambi Grant; father of her children and best friend, Donald Ray Smith.
