Tanya Davis-Zamrzla

On Saturday morning, August 6, 2005, TANYA NICOLE DAVIS-ZAMRZLA left this earth to be one of "God's Angels" as spoken in her own words. At the early age of 27, she passed away at Walls Hospital in Cleburne after a five (5) year battle with a malignant brain tumor.

Tanya was an angel on earth, and a beautiful person inside and out. She never met a stranger, loved people, especially her husband, John and puppy, Presley. She most certainly loved her entire family, her pastor, Brother Kenneth Coleman and a host of friends.

Tanya loved life and lived every minute to the fullest, with an incredible positive attitude, even after her cancer diagnosis. After college graduation she worker as a Child Protective Service Investigator for Johnson County, loved her job and co-workers, helping children and animals as well.

Tanya was survived by husband, John R. Zamrzla; mom and step-dad, Beverly Archer Davis-Demers and Joseph Demers; dad and step-mom, Larry S. Davis and Pamela Davis; sister and brother-in-law, Shawna and Chad Allen; niece and nephew, Ashley Nicole and Hunter Allen; grandmother, Barbara Davis; mother and father-in-law, John and Sharon Zamrzla; aunts and uncles, Peggy and Danny Belt, Linda Abbott and Wayne Braziel, Joe Paul and Tammy Davis, Wayne Ann Davis, Kathy Jo and Jerry Robinson, Stevie and Richard Overby; cousins and family, David, Stephanie and Lane Abbott, Angie Abbott and Logan Battles; David Wayne, Michelle, Taylor, Abby and Colin Belt; Eric Belt: John E. Davis;Stephen Davis; Allison Davis; Jim Davis; Jeff Davis, Brittany Davis; Danielle Davis; Toy Yorkie puppy, Presley Cleburne King and a host of Friends. She was preceded in death by grandparents, Marvin and Velma ("Mimi") Archer; John S. Davis ("Granddaddy"); uncles and aunts, John Clay Davis and JoAnn Raney; Robert V. Abbott.

TANYA WILL BE MISSED BY ALL WHO KNEW AND LOVED HER!!

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 9, 2005 at 3:00 PM at Cleburne's Crosier-Pearson-Mayfield Funeral Home Chapel in Cleburne, Texas, with Rev. Kenneth Coleman officiating. Serving as pallbearers for Tanya will be, Ronnie Blaylock, Heath Applegate, David Abbott, David Belt, Eric Belt, John Davis, Stephen Davis, Jim Davis and Jeff Davis. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.

Donations may be made to MD Anderson Cancer Center (Brain and Spine Center), Johnson County Animal Shelter or First Baptist Church of Godley in lieu of flowers.
