Tennie Lee

Services for Tennie "T.L." Lee, Jr., 81, of Cleburne will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 18, 2009 in the Greater Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 317 N. Brazos Ave., Cleburne. Pastor David Baldwin will officiate. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Edward Blackwell, Ryan Lee, Jared Lee, Kevin Lee, Jerry Lee, Jr. and Juwon Lee. Honorary pallbearers will be Robert Bearden, Roy Franklin.
T.L. Lee passed away Thursday, February 12, 2009 in Cleburne. He was born December 22, 1927 in Chapel Hill to Tennie and Louisa Brown Lee, Sr. He married Birdine Brazzle on December 9, 1950 in Cleburne.

Mr. Lee was a machinist for Santa Fe Railroad for over 40 years and a member of Greater Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Cleburne.

T.L. Lee is survived by his daughter, Anita Lee of Cleburne; sons, Dennis Lee and wife, Linda of Cleburne and Jerry Lee and wife, June of Channelview; nine grandchildren, Edward, Lawana, Ryan, Shelby, Shanita, Jared, Kevin, Jerry, Jr. and Juwon; five great-grandchildren, Mercedes, Sherlyn, Jerry III, Kyhrin and Shyzaha; sister, Helen Ward and a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife of 28 years, Birdine and daughter, Sherlyn Wells.
