Tensley Cox

Service for Tensley Eli Cox, Jr. of Cleburne will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, May 19, 2018 at The Refuge, 3219 N. Main St., Cleburne, TX 76033. Brad Cox and Pastor Gene Jones will officiate. Burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 P.M., Friday, at the funeral home.
Tensley Eli Cox, Jr. passed away Tuesday, May 15, 2018 in Cleburne. He was born September 14, 1928 in Lookeba, OK to Tensley Eli, Sr. and Mandy Fletcher Cox. He married Addie Imogene Bradshaw on May 16, 1948 and she preceded him in death on August 27, 2016, after 68 years of marriage.
Mr. Cox was a retired building contractor and a charter member and former Elder of The Refuge.
Survivors include his daughter, Kathy Madeja and husband Bob of Ft. Worth; sons, Danny Cox and wife Darlene of Burleson and Brad Cox and wife Judy of Cleburne; nine grandchildren; numerous great and great-great grandchildren; and brothers, RB Cox and wife Glenda of Burleson and Jim Cox and fiancée Connie of Kemp. He was also preceded by his granddaughter; grandson; four brothers; and two sisters.
